Position Summary
  • Location: Remote / Department: Product / Type: Full Time Permanent
  • NopSec is looking for a VP of Product Management to play a key role in driving the strategy and development of NopSec’s Unified VRM products. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Product Manager with experience in the information security space, and a passion for security technology.

Position Responsibilities
The VP of Product Management at NopSec will be responsible for:

  • Knowing the challenges that today’s practitioners in cyber exposure management face and where current solutions are falling short. 
  • Translating knowledge about the space into a compelling product vision, and aggressively pursuing a plan for reaching that ideal future state.
  • Working alongside data scientists, developers, designers, sales and marketing teams to craft NopSec solutions to meet current and future security challenges. 
  • Managing product releases & lifecycles.
  • Defining and planning the product roadmap.
  • Working with a team to manage requirements and user stories.
  • Owning Agile Product Owner roles and responsibilities.
  • Assisting Product Marketing, Customer Success and Field team support to solicit and address Voice of the Customer feedback. 

Desired Experience
To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

  • Must have cyber security domain experience, preferably a good understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle. 
  • 5+ years experience as a product manager building SaaS products.
  • Experience working in an agile methodology. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and with third parties.
  • Must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of accountability.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to have detailed technical conversations with engineers, including translating vision to business and technical requirements.
